As congress continues to talk about banning TikTok, how can you, as a voice actor and a content marketer, protect yourself and business if that ban actually does happen?
In this episode I share three steps I think everybody voice actor using TikTok should be taking right now to prepare for the worst case scenario. And then, in the best case scenario, if TikTok doesn't get banned, you're only going to come out even further ahead of where you are today.

For many voice actors, the biggest deterrent keeping them from embracing social media for their voice over marketing efforts is content creation. How do I come up with ideas? What do I post about? Is all the effort to create content even worth it? Will it lead to actual paid voice over work?
Christopher Tester has embraced content creation as a big part of his marketing strategy and the result has been viral posts. TikTok posts reaching hundreds of thousands of views, and LinkedIn content generating continued engagement five days a week. And yes... it's lead to paid voice over bookings.

I'm often asked about all the different resources, services, tools and apps I'm using to run my business on a day to day basis. All the things that keep me productive and help me get so much done. Over the next few episodes, I'm going to highlight many of those tools in my toolbox.
This week, I'm starting off with payment methods. I offer my voice over clients a number of different ways to pay their invoices. I figure the more options available, the easier it becomes to get paid. So far, that theory has paid off.
